The app
Spirit Level measures device tilt without an account or an internet connection. The app has no advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking, or developer-operated backend. It does not send your motion readings, calibration, preferences, or usage information to the developer.
Information used on your device
Spirit Level uses Apple’s Core Motion framework to read the device’s gravity direction and update the bubble and angle readings. These readings are processed on the device. The app does not save a history of motion samples or transmit them elsewhere.
When you tap Calibrate, the app saves one gravity reference for future measurements. Calibration and preferences for tolerance, haptics, and keeping the screen awake are stored locally. Demo calibration and physical-sensor calibration are separate. The developer cannot access these values through the app.
Your controls
Open Settings → Reset calibration to remove the reference for the current sensor or demo mode. You can change the other preferences in Settings. Motion updates stop when the app becomes inactive.
Deleting the app removes the settings held by that installation. Copies in device backups, if any, are managed through your device and Apple backup settings. There is no app account or developer server record of your measurements to delete.
If you contact support
If you choose to email giraygirisken@gmail.com, the developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you send. This happens through your email service, separately from the app’s measurement features. The app does not automatically attach readings or diagnostics.
Support messages are used to respond to and resolve your request and kept only as needed for that purpose. Email providers process and store messages as part of delivering correspondence. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the same address. You do not need to contact support or provide personal details to use the app.
This website
This support website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and uses Cloudflare infrastructure for delivery. When you visit, the hosting services may process technical request data, including your IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from Spirit Level’s on-device measurements.
Cloudflare describes its handling of data from visitors to customer websites in its Privacy Policy. Apple and your email provider operate their services under their own privacy policies.
